Report: Russia needs 3–5 years to produce enough jets

MOSCOW, Jun 14 (PRIME) -- Russia needs three to five years to launch serial production of the necessary number of jets, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov told newswire RBC on Monday.

"We need to work actively for three to five years in order to rise serial production of jets of various classes in necessary quantities," Borisov said.

He said that Russia has a capacity to boost production of SSJ New, MC-21, Tu-214 and Il-96 models.
